Following the Lafenwa Community Medical in commemoration of World Cancer Day, where free medical tests and consultations were carried out, drugs and free eyeglasses were also given out. However, the participants far exceeded the expected number, hence the Chair of the committee made a commitment to make available glasses for all the participants who were tested but did not get theirs.
The Zonal pastor of the Church where the outreach was hosted paid a visit to Covenant University where the Chair- Dr George Tayo along with the Executive Secretary of the Committee – Mrs Diji-geske Ruth and a Committee Member Mr Nicholas Ojo Peter made an official presentation of fifty-piece of reading glasses in honour of our words.
